It's been a while
Well it's been a while and there have been times were I have felt like logging in and updating my blog, but I have been too tired. Simply put, I finished the credential program last month. I have not been actively searching for a job because I'm exhausted. My second and final semester of the credential program was draining. I also worked two jobs during that time. So, I decided to give myself a rest. Plus I just wanted to be lazy for a bit and spend time with my daughter. I have done a couple of interviews. One with LAUSD because I feel like going home. The other with San Diego City Schools. I keep telling myself I don't feel motivated, but I wonder how motivated I'll feel when student loans become due.

HI Norma, I've been missing you. Coming up in April SDSU has a job fair. I went and walked around last year and there were a lot of representatives from the LA area. It wasn't the best as far as local representation, but if you're interested in LA you may want to check it out. I can't imagine LAUSD would pass on an opportunity to snag you up. Candidates from SDSU ar seen as prime and highly qualified candidates. I know about the exhaustion. I'm still working, although I plan on cutting back next month. I'm teaching Senior English at El Cajon Valley HS. And I think a couple of my professors are a little out of touch regarding the demand on their students who are teaching this semester. I finish in May. I keep a date book and as each week passes I write DONE! across the page. Good luck Norma, and don't leave me alone out here, Lisa
